INSTALLING PHOTOLUMINESCENT LOW-LOCATION LIGHTING
From 1 October 1994 new passenger ships carrying more than 36 passengers must be equipped with a low-location lighting system. All other existing passenger ships must be retrofitted by 1 October 1997. This article outlines the planning, installation, and approval of a photoluminescent escape-route system.
