INVESTIGATION ON STEADY TURBULENT FLOW IN AXISYMMETRIC DIFFUSER OF MSEMD SYSTEM

The calculation of axisymmetric diffuser steady turbulent flow in MSEMD system is presented. In a body-fitted coordinate system, the governing equations are numerically computed with a time- dependent method. The internal grids are dealt with, and the second-order MacCormack method and inlet and outlet conditions are calculated by the second-order reference plane characteristic method. Comparisons between the numerical and experimental results indicate that they fit well.
