FUZZY NETWORK FLOW AND OPERATING SIMULATION FOR SHIPPING IRON ORE IN CHINA

A sea shipping network is constructed based on the prediction of importation of iron ore in China within this decade. Flows of iron ore imported are arranged reasonably by means of the fuzzy network flow programming method for maximum flow minimum cost problem. A simulation model for an open-ended cyclic queuing network system is established to test the operating performance of the fleet. The simulation-optimization method for a stochastic discrete event system is raised on the basis of statistical hypothesis testing to select the optimal fleet.
