NONLINEAR PUSHOVER AND CYCLIC ANALYSES IN ULTIMATE LIMIT STATE DESIGN AND REASSESSMENT OF TUBULAR STEEL OFFSHORE STRUCTURES

The report is concerned with the use of nonlinear pushover analyses and nonlinear cyclic analyses in ultimate limit state design and reassessment of tubular steel offshore structures. The aim of the study is to develop an assessment methodology based on system strength rather than component strength, to generate the necessary documentation for application of the methodology, and to demonstrate the feasibility and usefulness of the procedures.
