AN IMPROVED PARKING DURATION STUDY METHOD
The present method of conducting small-scale parking duration studies is, at best, only approximate. This is due to the fact that many short term parkers are never observed. This paper will show that, by using some basic characteristics of parking duration, it is possible to get more accurate results at a lower survey cost. This paper will also present consulting engineers, and municipal engineers engaged in parking studies, with an easy procedure for the use of this method. (Author) /TRRL/
