SENSOR TECHNOLOGY AND DEVICES
Sensors are devices that provide an interface between electronic equipment and the physical world. They help electronics to "see", "hear", "smell", "taste", and "touch". In their interface with the real world, sensors typically convert nonelectrical physical or chemical quantities into electrical signals. This book is intended for scientists, engineers and students who seek a broader knowledge and understanding on subjects in the sensor field. In addition to a basic introduction to the sensor world, four other important areas are covered: modeling, sensor technology, devices and applications, and special circuits.
