THE CASE OF IBERIA IN ARGENTINA

This paper addresses the decision program in Argentina and the case of Iberia-Argentinean Airlines. First, it discusses the rationale behind the movement toward privatization of the airline--why and what, how and why Argentina eased divesting from state-owned enterprises. Then, it describes the specific case of Iberia and Argentina, and the lessons, implications and conclusions that other countries can learn from the experience of Argentina.
