ENGINEERING GEOLOGY OF CONSTRUCTION

This book is based on papers presented to the 28th annual conference of the Engineering Group of the Geological Society in September 1992. The papers examine the input of engineering geologists to the construction sequence on UK and international projects. The case studies are drawn from a wide variety of projects, including foundations, highways, tunnelling and excavations. For abstracts of individual papers see IRRD 877169-877190.
