SPECIAL REPORT FROM THE SELECT COMMITTEE ON THE CHANNEL TUNNEL RAIL LINK BILL, TOGETHER WITH THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE
The report explains the decisions taken after considering the Petitions against the Channel Tunnel Rail Link Bill. The bill is considered in two parts namely, the building of the rail link from St Pancras to the Channel Tunnel at Cheriton, and the widening and improvement of the A2 trunk road and the M2 motorway between junctions 1 and 2. Decisions made have resulted in significant changes on the rail link while others are intended to help individuals or companies.
