THE USE OF DIFFERENT KINDS OF MODELS TO CHARACTERIZE ACCIDENT MECHANISMS
MODELLER INOM DET STOETBIOMEKANISKA OMRAADET
In order to design safety systems and evaluate their efficiency different models are used to characterize the accident mechanisms. This paper provides an overview of those models; the biological, the mechanical and the mathematical models. An example of the use of these different kinds of models in preventing whiplash injuries is also presented. For the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD 876615.
