ROAD TRAFFIC INFORMATICS: NEW TRAFFIC TECHNIQUE, NEW SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR, NEW DRIVING STYLES

The impact of the new Road Traffic Informatic (RTI) technology will be considerable. In this paper the impact on social relations and driving culture will be discussed. A starting point for this discussion is that the operators of the road traffic system are the road user themselves. The questions to be answered are how these road users interact in order to make their way through the traffic. For the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD 876615.
