TRAFFIC ENGINEERING EDUCATION PLAN USING ALTERNATIVE MEDIA
The methodology for developing a traffic engineering education plan was developed under a research project funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). PennDOT identified the need to continually upgrade the level of technical knowledge within the traffic engineering function. The educational plan establishes the future education and training activities that will put the PennDOT traffic engineering function at the forefront of traffic engineering. This paper presents the substantive features of the traffic engineering education plan.
