A FRAMEWORK FOR COORDINATING COMMUNITY TRANSPORTATION
During the past decade, many communities in Ontario have experienced growing demand for conventional and specialized transportation services because of an increasing seniors population, the creation of more community-based programs and services, and the consolidation of program functions within health, education and social services. The Community Coordination Framework is a tool to help those who are interested in coordination. The framework incorporates the desire expressed by some communities to develop a coordination plan suited to their own particular and unique needs.
