DANISH PRE-INSULATED PIPE SYSTEM

The pre-insulated pipe systems developed by a Danish company are applicable in temperature ranges from -200oC to +450oC for the transport of steam and condensate, thermal oil, fuel oil, chemicals and products as well as LPG/LNG. The pipes have been developed to tolerate the substantial physical strain sustained on board a ship, the dense polyurethane foam and strong PEH jacket offer a very high mechanical strength. It is possible to gain large energy savings because the pre-insulated pipe system has an insulating property which is much higher than any other alternative solution. There will also be a large saving on maintenance in the long term as the pre-insulated pipe is maintenance-free and has been designed to maintain the insulation function during the service life of the ship.
