SENSOR TECHNIQUES FOR A MOBILE ROBOT IN SHIPBUILDING

Automatic welding machines and welding robots need to be provided with the sensitive and intelligent abilities of the welder. Sensors are used for controlling, adaptation and detection of obstacles. The small welding robot for shipbuilding assembly works with inductive sensors, arc sensors, inclination sensors and laser scanners.
