BUCKLING BEHAVIOUR OF STIFFENED PANELS UNDER STATIC AND DYNAMIC LOADING WITH PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON THE RESPONSE OF THE STIFFENER OUTSTANDS

This paper presents results on the static and dynamic behaviour of stiffened panels. The static loading cases are subjected to inplane loading for a variety of plate slendernesses and the effect of tripping is investigated. Under dynamic loading a complex model was also used to model a blast wall. A simplified model of the blast wall has also been setup in order to investigate the effects of boundary conditions and tripping.
