HIGHER ORDER WAVE LOADS ON AND RESPONSE OF AN ARTICULATED TOWER

A theoretical and experimental study has been carried out on the higher order wave load phenomena frequently called ringing. It has been shown that a significant mechanism for the ringing effect is impulsive type wave loading around the still water line area on an articulated tower.
