BLACK BOX FROM KVAERNER
The article describes a 'black box' developed as part of an integrated bridge control system. The black box is basically verification of a vessels's GPS systems, enabling the electronic chart screen display of the vessel to show any deviation from the desired track. The black box is, essentially, a scan converter system with tracker and interface to Ethernet.
