The "Sweep Assembly System" (SAS) developed in America, has been designed to decrease offshore operators' overall cost of their site clearance programs. The configuration of the system is such that a minimum amount of energy is applied with large results realized, every square foot of area is covered with one pass of the SAS. The SAS cleans a 400ft diameter are in 12 hours, is adaptable to areas where obstructions preclude trawling, locates and identifies any hang with virtually no damage to the net assemble and is approved by the US Department of Natural Resources.
