The Chiba yard of Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding delivered the second in a series of three single screw, 149 686 dwt Suezmax tankers to the Bermuda-based owner, London & Overseas Freighters at the end of May. This latest vessel, LONDON GLORY, is a similar vessel to LONDON PRIDE which was handed over to Mitsui in July 1993. The third vessel, LONDON SPLENDOUR, will be delivered in early December. All three vessels have double skinned hulls and an oil tight longitudinal centreline bulkhead.
