DUTCH NAVY SHOWS ITS NEW TROMP HAND

This article gives details of the two Tromp class replacement frigates which will be built at the Royal Schelde shipyard in Flushing, the Netherlands for the Royal Netherlands Navy. Called Luchtverdedigningsen Commandofregatten (LCFs) the frigates will carry a sophisticated anti-air warfare system of Dutch-German-Canadian design. The LCSs will be 144m long, 18m wide and have a draught of 5m. Displacement will be 58690 tons.
