ON THE USE OF VLASOV'S HYPOTHESES TO THE DESCRIPTION OF VIBRATIONS OF SHIPS HULLS

Using the frame-shell theory of Vlasov, the moving equations of ship hull, modelled as a system of linear-elastic orthotropic shells of multicircuit cross-section have been formulated. An algorithm for the numerical integration of equations of motion, based on the soan- matrix method has been presented. The method enables the determination of the hull response to the system of harmonic forces excitation, as well as the calculation of the resonance frequencies.
