A METHOD FOR THE SOLVING AXISYMMETRICAL INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL FLUID FLOW PROBLEMS WITH PRIMITIVE VARIABLE CONTINUITY EQUATION FORMULATION

A numerical method is developed which can be applied to solve all the plane flow problems and the axisymmetrical internal and external fluid flow problems. The pressure calculation formula can be used successfully to solve the incompressible fluid flow problems at semi-staggered grid system, or staggered grid system and it has good convergence characteristics. H-type grid generation and the discretization at semi-staggered grid system are especially fit for solving the internal and external flow field together.
