EXHAUST EMISSIONS STUDY GIVES IMO FOOD FOR THOUGHT

The conclusion of Lloyd's Register of Shipping's five-year investigation into quantifying the global impact of marine diesel engine exhaust air pollution reveals some unexpected results: heavy fuel with high sulphur content pollutes the most. IMO is now armed with some realistic data from which to challenge unrealistic national limitations.
