AUSTAL DELIVERS CATAMARAN TO JAPANESE OPERATOR

The first four engined vessel built by Austal Ships, the 43m catamaran SPEEDER, was delivered to Diamond Ferry Company of Japan in May 1995. SPEEDER is to be introduced on a 64 nautical mile route between Oita, Kyushu island and Matsuyama, Shikoku island. General arrangement drawings of the catamaran are included in the article.
