THE NEW WAY OF CONTROLLING THE CARGO ON BOARD TANKERS

A computerised cargo control system which can control cargo on board any king of tanker, from small coastal vessels to VLCCs is described. It provides the user with instant control and monitoring of pumps and valves and other analogue/digital controlled equipment. The user has also continuous failsafe level/ullage readings, on-line spot/average temperature readings, inert gas pressure monitoring and on-line load calculation. Other parameters include ballast levels, draught, trim and list.
