THE TRANSPORT BY SEA OF LIQUID HYDROGEN LH2

This paper reviews the state of the art in LH2 transport by sea. The types of ship required to carry a product at -253oC, the materials used, insulation requirements, loading and unloading and the possibilities of utilising the hydrogen as fuel are discussed.
