This hearing examines the safety risk of the use of unapproved parts on aircraft. These unapproved parts are a growing problem and an adequate job has not been done in identifying and curbing the use of these parts. Included are the testimony and prepared statements of members of the United States Senate and witnesses, additional statements submitted for the record, and previously submitted questions and answers.
