This Primer on ETTM (Electronic Toll and Traffic Management) has been written for the transportation professional in a Department of Transportation or a Toll Authority. It provides information on the design, procurement, installation, and operation of ETTM systems. The goal of this document is to facilitate the rapid deployment of ETTM systems throughout the country, and to increase overall interest in intelligent transportation systems.
