LANDSLIDES UNDER STATIC AND DYNAMIC CONDITIONS - ANALYSIS, MONITORING, AND MITIGATION

This publication contains the papers from a symposium on "Stability of Natural Slopes: Evaluation of Long Term Stability and Performance, and Seismic Analysis", which was held on October 23, 1995, at the ASCE National Convention in San Diego, California. The symposium was organized by the Committee on Engineering Geology and the Committee on Soil Properties of the Geotechnical Engineering Division of ASCE, with the support of the Association of Engineering Geologists. The papers discuss slope analysis, monitoring and mitigation. Case study landslides come from various locations including Maine, Kentucky, Southern California, and France. Abramson. A Subject Index and an Author Index are provided.
