GEOTECHNICAL MAPPING AS AN INTEGRAL PART OF SITE INVESTIGATION - TWO CASE HISTORIES

The use of geotechnical mapping in two different engineering geological situations is discussed. The methods used in the preparation of the geotechnical plans and their subsequent uses are outlined.
