ICE PRESSURE ON SEPARATE SUPPORTING STRUCTURES IN THE SEA

In a number of instances, the structures in the form of separately standing supports erected in the coastal areas of the seas can be subjected to the influence of drifting ice floes. In the present report, a technique is suggested for determining the loads from the effect of ice fields on separately standing piers with vertical and sloped working surfaces. (Author)
