FULL-DEPTH RECYCLING REVITALIZES OHIO COUNTY'S AGED ASPHALT ROADS

Cold, in-place, full-depth flexible pavement recycling has a long life expectancy and low life-cycle costs, which makes it a popular choice among public agencies trying to stretch limited budgets. This article answers questions about the use of full-depth recycling on seriously deteriorating and aging roads, in terms of soil types, freeze-thaw cycles, and economics. A project in Dublin, Ohio, is highlighted, demonstrating the usefulness of this technique.
