SURVEY SUMMARY OF THE 1995 SALARIES AND BENEFITS OF TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERS IN NORTH AMERICA

A recent survey indicates that salaries for transportation engineers increased 13 percent in the United States and 11 percent in Canada over the past 4 years. The Institute of Transportation Engineers conducted the 1995 salaries and benefits survey in August--the sixth such survey since 1983. Six job levels were established, which allowed respondents to best select the level that matched their job responsibilities. This article provides salary and benefits information in a series of detailed tables and figures.
