MODELLING OF CONTROLLED INTERSECTIONS AS COMPLEX SYSTEMS OF DYNAMIC OBJECTS

The paper deals with a new method of modelling of controlled intersections as a complex system of dynamic objects. In this method dynamic models represents queuing processes running at characteristic points of approaches (ie entrance points) and in the area of an intersection. The intersection between queuing processes are considered. This model may be applied for intersections with any geometric layout. Comparison between results obtained using this method and results based on Australian method and connected SIDRA program is presented. (A) For the covering abstract see IRRD 873901.
