ORIGIN-DESTINATION SURVEY MANUAL OVERVIEW
The Federal Highway Administration is creating a new procedural guide for conducting comprehensive origin-destination surveys, which will cover household travel surveys, transit on-board surveys, vehicle intercept and external surveys, commercial vehicle surveys, workplace and special generator surveys, parking surveys, and hotel/visitor surveys. Two paragraphs, which appear in a compendium of conference papers, describe the forthcoming document.
