CATALYTIC CONTROL OF DIESEL PARTICULATE EMISSIONS

The use of laboratory catalytic microreactors for the evaluation and study of diesel emission control catalysts is described. Results giving an insight into the catalytic reaction mechanism of gaseous hydrocarbons and sulphur dioxide are discussed. The catalytic performance evaluation is compared to engine test-bed results and shows good agreement. For the covering abstract see IRRD 873243.
