This annual survey presents summaries of active Canadian research programs for 1994 in the field of surface transportation. Organizations surveyed included road and rail research agencies of the federal, provincial and municipal governments, the academic community, associations and private firms. The projects are arranged according to the subject categories of the International Road Research Documentation system of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development.
