DESIGN MANUAL FOR ROADS AND BRIDGES. VOL 7, SECTION 4, PART 1. MAINTENANCE OF BITUMINOUS ROADS

This part details the methods to be used for minor repairs of bituminous roads (carriageway patching, trench reinstatement, surface treatments, crack sealing, surface dressing, retexturing), as well as major strengthening works (cold-milling and regulation, overlays resurfacing, reflection crack treatment, haunching, and carriageway reconstruction. The current methods of recycling bituminous pavements are also given. Amendment no 1 was published in March 1995. This amendment includes completely revised chapters 5, 7 and 8, and a new chapter 6 on in-situ hot recycling.
