LEETSDALE DRIVE REVERSIBLE LANE DESIGN STUDY - DENVER, COLORADO

The Leetsdale Drive Reversible Lane Design Study has been conducted by the City and County of Denver in coordination with the Colorado Department of Transportation and the Denver Regional Council of Governments. The study evaluated the effectiveness of low-cost improvements (transportation system management or TSM options) and a reversible lane for alleviating congestion along Leetsdale Drive and mitigating resultant traffic into adjacent neighborhoods. Low-cost safety improvements also were identified to mitigate current problems. The City wanted to explore various temporary options for increasing the capacity of Leetsdale until permanent solutions can be implemented.
