DEVELOPMENT - INITIATED NEIGHBORHOOD TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
Article describing an open house approach to planning for and obtaining input on proposed new traffic patterns and on construction of a Safeway store in a residential neighborhood. The area in question is the Jumbo Gardens neighborhood in northwest Thunder Bay, Ontario. The intent of the open houses was to explain the proposed plans, obtain input to adjust the proposal to mitigate the traffic concerns of the residents.
