ROLL MOTION CHARACTERISTICS OF HIGH SPEED SLENDER VESSELS

In this study experimental investigations on the roll damping and the high speed stability losses are carried out for displacement type slender vessels with round bilge. A modified method for predicting the roll damping of such vessels method is proposed on the basis of Ikeda's prediction method for conventional cargo vessels.
