THE SIMULATION FOR THE CONTROL SYSTEM OF A SHIP FIN STABILISER UNDER HEAVY SEA STATE

The operating of a ship fin stabiliser control system is simulated mathematically. A performance comparison is made between a system with limiting fin angle and one without and significant results are given. On the basis of stochastic process, the probability that the fin angle leaps over the limiting attitude for k times during certain periods is forecast. Practical suggestions for the R and D of full- scale fin stabilizer control system is presented.
