ELECTROLYSIS TECHNOLOGY USED FOR MARINE GROWTH PREVENTION SYSTEM (MAGPET-200)

The article describes an antifouling system that uses an electrically conductive coating for ship hulls. The system, known as the Marine Growth Prevention System by Electrolysis Technology (MAGPET), prevents marine organisms such as barnacles from adhering to a ship's hull by sending a small electric current through a conductive coating applied to the hull, resulting in electrolysis of surrounding seawater.
