COUNTERFEIT COMPONENTS A RISK

In today's economic climate "counterfeit" spare parts are being more widely used in marine engines. This results in high costs, not only monetary but to the original engine manufacturer who pays with his reputation. The author questions whether it is false economy to pay too little for reliability and safety.
