SHIP STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS CAPABILITY UPDATES

Ships in the ocean are subjected to various dynamic loads such as fluctuating hydropressure and the cargo inertia force. Rational and comprehensive ship structural analysis and strength evaluation must be carried out in order to secure the strength over its whole life. This paper reviews some latest wave load ship structural analysis and evaluation techniques.
