EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF FOIL ASSISTED CATAMARAN
This paper describes the seakeeping and propulsive performance of a foil assisted catamaran "TWIN-30" and the results of a series of 1/6 scale model tests. Propulsive performance was measured by over load tests, using two gasoline engines and waterjets as a propulsion system. Seakeeping capability and anti-pitching effected by the flap control was examined by simulation and model tests in regular waves.
