DETERMINATION OF CRITICAL WAVE SEQUENCES FOR MOORED, FLOATING STRUCTURES

This method is based on the fact that the maximum motion is governed by maximum energy input within the limits where the time scale of the oscillating system is equivalent to the resonance period of the system divided by the logarithmic decrement.
