CONCRETE STRUCTURES PROPOSED FOR ARCTIC CONDITIONS

The PROCON project of Bilfinger and berger Bauaktien-gesellschaft is a gravity-founded platform with a reinforced concrete protective structure to protect the platform against the impact of floating objects such as icebergs. The article briefly describes the configuration and operation of the structure.
