ESTIMATION OF IMPACT PRESSURE AND THE DESIGN OF BOW IN FAST SHIPS WITH LARGE FLARE ANGLE

This method was elaborated to estimate the impact pressure on the bow. It has sufficient accuracy to be utilised in the design of car ferries, containerships, and other ships with a large flare angle.
